We are a free, public charter school open to students in the city of Newark and neighboring districts. 2021-22 Newark Enrolls Application is available now through Friday, January 29th!

Application Process
It’s Easy! Apply Online!
Complete the enrollment application via the Parent Portal at NewarkEnrolls.org. This application will allow you to apply and/or waitlist for any school that participates in the Newark Enrollment System. Need support completing your application? Feel free to call our Network Office at 862-256-0909 or stop by any one of our campuses for assistance!
Do You Have Siblings?
If you’re applying for more than one scholar, be sure to add all of their names to your account profile via NewarkEnrolls.org and complete an application for each scholar. Remember, if you have a current sibling in Great Oaks Legacy Charter School, you qualify for sibling preference that puts your scholar at a higher ranking in the application process!
Stay In The Know
Once you’ve completed your application, expect an email notification and/or a letter via mail for your application results. If you’ve added your student to our waitlist after the initial application process, you will have up to date waitlist status information via your account profile. Application Timeline
November – January
Great Oaks Legacy Charter School accepts enrollment applications online via NewarkEnrolls.org.
Mid-April
Families will receive application results via email notification and mailed letter. Great Oaks Legacy Charter School will call all newly matched families for the upcoming school year directly to welcome them to our school community and send online registration instructions via email.
End of June – End of December
Families that missed the initial application window or who are unsatisfied with their application results have the opportunity to match directly or be placed on our waitlist via the Newark Enrolls system.
